After shopping yesterday for our upcoming snorkel trip, I wanted to rehearse my new water shoes and water shirt so we took an early swim in the sea and snorkeled by the rocks. What a great way to start our day here in Paradise! Because it was raining we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. I love my new water shoes and the shirt is protection against the sun . It felt pretty good too. We went via taxi to a huge shopping mall a half hour away yesterday- a cultural surprise – the same shops we have at home and the same prices too.
Sunday- I hear about the snow at home – I feel so grateful to be in this
tropical land. After a very leisurely brunch I did yoga and a drawing. It continued to rain all day but it was so relaxing to just hang out in our hotel room and to hear the rain on the roof. About 5:00 I stepped out next door and relished in receiving a Thai massage followed by a Thai dinner with Allynn. Not a bad day in Paradise.
