Mysore Diary, Jan 18

Yoga today at the main Shala, led class which is totally exhausting. IMG_0547 IMG_0551 IMG_0560 IMG_0557I am trying to keep track of the counts for the different poses. Headstand is 15- pike headstand is 10. I have no clue how to do lotus shoulder stand – where the hands come to the knees. Saraswathi helped me with it, standing against my back. Feels like something I will never grasp. Yesterday in past life regression class Kumar led a man in a very intense past life. Tribal and violence and a sunami wiped out the village and I thought it would make a good movie, the plot was fascinating and complicated. This guy was the head warrior in his village but power struggles were always erupting and women and men were being killed. He became a tribal leader and at the end of his life he was hanging out with black psychic magicians who were nourishing him with green juice but he felt they were really plotting to poison him, so he had them all killed. Wow! Intense!!! I am having my session today, in 2 hours- I am trying not to think about it. We are starting to organize our departure from Mysore. Sad to realize that this adventure is drawing to a close. We will be going to the East coast for a few days and then back to Delhi, where Allynn has a show Feb 6. Talk later!
Bye Annie
